2020, yet another dismal experience with indoor food production.

Area above the kindling-hold

The brickwork was done back in 2015 or 2016 and has aided by increasing additional wall space.

Below the area shown are the hot water heater, reverse-osmosis, and holding tank.

The white unit hanging on the wall is a pre-filter to the potable water.

Parts Wall Creatively made with Crates

Wall nooks

When the crates were first purchased, they were needed for moving from the Troy Road location in Springfield Ohio.

At the time they were purchased, I was alarmed by the $5.00 pricetag per little crate.

They've earned their worth over the almost decade here.

Door to Nowhere

The 220v fan behind the door is what prevents me from installing a perfecly fine window.

New Kubota Pathway

The Kubota tractor has NON-turf-friendly tires.

Instead of making muddy tracks that look bad, we're trying wood chips.

Raising the Grade

By the time I die, this property will be at least an inch taller.

Photo of failed experiment

Experiment

This was a surprising, albeit short, experiment with a dump-load.

The small 12v light strip is powered by a wind generator that has a variance of about 0 to 80+ volts (o.c.).

December, 2021 Update: And now a note for anybody wanting to go down the road of figuring out a way to suffice all lower-volt items from a solitary high-energy source, it doesn't appear possible.

I have tried about a half-dozen experiments, mostly using the variableness of the 48v wind-generator's energy.

My initial premise was that if a dump-load was large enough, that all lower-consumers would pull only what they needed and no more.

And although the dump-load could be no better (a steel bar, a.k.a. "heating element"), even the 48v LED lights began smoking.

Still, there has to be a way to do this without circuitry, which is my goal (just because).

Short-lived

The test was performed in the hopes that anything could be operated so long as a large dump-load was included in the loop.

New Battery Bank

New Battery Bank for Rear Garage

Using an old re-purposed oil-burner housing to contain batteries.

By the way, if I were to harvest all of the instances within this website of where a shout-out was made to the Kubota people for creating such a fine tractor, the result would be one solitary sentence.

Kubota is the bomb.
