Very well-made International, All-Steel, All-American, Home/Storage/Bug-out Vehicle
Some of the photos contained on this page were taken while installation of the solar arrays were in-progress, and do not show the completed project.
Great for hunter-shack,
water-proof storage,
or living space that can move!
Solar Awnings are Double-hinged for individual or sets of four panels (down for added privacy, individually or in groups of 4 for two lifts up or down).
All window tinting was professionally installed in 2014.
All tires hold air, 4 rear tires have been properly converted from factory "split-rims", to "stay alive" rims/tires.
All Structural steel is welded, otherwise nuts and bolts (no screws).
No special licensing required (anybody with a common driver's license can operate this).
Welded-steel handrail with welded steel steps for rear door were added.
Air-conditioner above rear door was added.
Twenty Four solar panels installed with room for more!
Has at least one installed camera (used to be 16 with 6 of the cameras on the roof-top).
All panels are top-of-the-line Monocrystaline.
Heaters, fans, lights, and everything else should work perfectly.
The 40' Diesel International Bus can be legally processed as a mobile home.
All Solar Arrays can be adjusted to 48v, 24v, or 12v power systems, or connected directly to a grid-tied inverter to earn a paycheck for the energy generation to the grid.
Free daily Solar Energy that will produce beyond our lifetimes!
Added welded grilled under-bus carriages on both sides of bus for hoses, cables, etc.
Heavy-Duty alternator added in 2015.
Prospective buyer will need to bring their own heavy-duty battery (does not come with a battery). One battery will be fine to start and drive (original design accomodates two 12v large tractor-trailer batteries and has it's own lockable outside compartment door).
The exhaust developed a small hole in the manifold. Although repaired with a patch, replacement would ensure that idling fumes do not become a nuisance.
The bus has been parked for years and shows no signs of losing oil. However during the last long-distance drive, I had to keep oil onboard due to a drip which seems to appear only when driving (For each State the bus drove through required a quart or two; maybe less, cannot remember).
Solar awnings in the down-position
Solar awning arrays and roof solar in the up-position
Up until 2014, the bus carried 16 batteries to power laptops, screens, security cameras, a dvr that remained on 24/7, and everything else that required energy.
The onboard batteries, excluding the two outside running batteries, were contained beneath two oposing bench/beds
Expect to receive lower rates at the campgrounds! Be sure to inform the campground that you have your own electric and don't need to plug in anywhere. The campground may redirect your bus to a "campsite" location (no electric service needed).
If permanently parking for long-term living, the bus should be oriented with the solar wall facing South (to gain optimal east-west sunlight).
More Photos coming soon!

Roof-top solar (steel, hardware, solar panels, etc.) $5,810.00
Solar Array Awnings (steel, hardware, solar panels, etc.) $3,320.00
Bare Bus (everything but solar) $2,295.00
The Title states the Bus was born in 1984.
This bus can be converted to hold an indeterminate number of people. Counting only 30 feet for sleepers (allowance for any walls, closets, etc., I deduced that it will hold 5 people comfortably per side for a total of 10 sleepers. Bunk-beds would adjust this to 20 sleepers. The bus was originally carrying 48 people (provided that only 2 persons per seat).
